The electric filter operates on the principle of electrostatic suppression. The effect is comparable to the attraction of iron particles by the magnetic field of a magnet.

In the air filter technology, the above iron particles are replaced by particles, which are in the raw gas stream and are deposited. The most peculiar electrostatic driver is suitable for the separation of oil mist. Therefore, this type of air filter is often referred to as oil mist. The electrostatic air filter is composed of two different sections: Air filter section of ionization The section of ionization are the particles an electric charge (+). Air filter section of the capture The section of the capture records the previously charged particles.
